This is the neck and body prepared to receive the aluminum strips.

Here the strips have been glued in place.

This is the completed neck with the truss rod adjustable from inside the guitar. The following is how we achieved this...The first step is to make the block for the inside of the guitar

The 2 main blocks are fastened together. I make my own 1/2" plywood by laminating mahogany and maple or myrtle. This is extra strong and saves a bit of weight. You also don't need the miter cut on the front block.

Here's a shot of the tapered neck block and the recessed holes for the wood screws.

The foot can have any profile you like. The one on the drawing works fine, this one is just a little fancier made on the router table.
